My Work
This house Exterior on Snell Island in St. Petersburg, FL looks refreshed and updated with its newly painted colors. Goodbye to the golden-beige color of the past with a new lighter neutral colors.
The houses on either side of this client are painted a light off-white color. I work, with my clients, to select colors that will set them apart from their neighbors without looking like a crazy sore thumb. Although, if a client wants to stand out, we can do that too! 😊
I suggested a color with a little bit of green in it. The terracotta color of the roof and the stain of the doors always look nice with the right green. The colors chosen were Sherwin-Williams, SW6155 Rice Grain for the main body of the house. This is a warm lightish color with just the right hint of green without it being “green”. For the trim, moldings, accents, etc. Sherwin-Williams SW7568 Neutral Ground, a muted warm off-white, was applied. The contrast is more subtle than a bright white. It adds contrast and sophistication to the house exterior.
